Forum Rules
1) Read up before asking! There are tons of guides, FAQs and each forum has a dedicated Q&A thread with additional info.
Use the search function before posting. Chances are your question has already been answered.
2) Respect the netiquette: Lurk and get to know the forum before you post.
3) Keep the focus: Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved, locked or simply be deleted.
4) Be nice to each other and respect the moderator. Profanity and insults will not be tolerated. If you have a problem with another member turn to the respective moderator and if the moderator can't help you send a private message to Dragonx.
5) Do not spam. No blatant advertising
In-Game Rules
1. No Autoing/Macroing (which includes using a modified client or 3rd party software)
Anyone caught using a third-party application or modified client to give them any advantage over other players will be permanently banned on all associated accounts with absolutely no warning. We have numerous automatic detection scripts in place which alert us immediately.
2. No Advertising (which includes talking about other private servers)
Talking about competition creates curiosity and it's treated just as seriously as blatant spam. There will be no discussing any other private server through any RSCEmulation service (which includes both forum/in-game PM systems) and anyone caught doing so will be muted or permanently banned depending on the severity of the offence.
3. No Scamming/Hacking (accessing another account without permission)
If a players IP is found on another account without permission all their linked accounts will be permanently banned. Do not login to any account except your own as someone may be trying to plant you!
4. No Disrespecting Staff
We're here to make the server run smoothly for you. We won't target you or anyone else, and we certainly won't abuse our powers. We won't disrespect you and we'll do our utmost to prevent anyone else from disrespecting you, so please, give us the same respect back.
5. No Real-World Trading (which includes swapping items for other game currency)
Selling RSCEmulation items/accounts/services for real-life money is strictly forbiden and anyone caught doing so will be permanently banned on all associated accounts with absolutely no warning.
6. No Overly Abusive/Vulgar/Racist Comments
If a staff member feels that you're taking it too far you will be temporary/permanently muted depending on the severity of the offence. Repeat offenders risk a permanent ban.
7. No Impersonating RSCEmulation Staff
Anyone attempting to impersonate a staff member will be temporary/permanently banned depending on the severity of the offence. You may not have "MOD", "ADMIN", "Owner" or anything that implies you're a staff member in your name or signature.
8. No Bug Abuse
Exploiting any unpatched bug will result in a permanent ban on all associated accounts with absolutely no warning depending on the severity of the offence. Not reporting a bug to the team is as good as abusing it.
9. No Evading Punishment
If you have been muted/banned and you use another account to continue breaking rules you will be permanently banned on all associated accounts with absolutely no warning. If you want to appeal your punishment please create a new topic in the Offence Appeal forum section.
10. No Ignoring Staff
If a staff member approaches you in-game and you don't respond (providing that you're doing an action that requires you to be active at your computer) you will be permanently banned on all associated accounts with absolutely no warning. We do this to check that you are actually playing and not using a third-party application to play the game for you (refer to rule no. 1).
Staff Rules
Staff Abuse
Abuse from the staff will not be tolerated. Any abuse done by the staff towards other in any way will result in your account being disabled. You will be given a warning on your first offense and your account will be disabled on your second offense. No exceptions.
Donation Scamming
Moderating donation trades are very important to the community. By being a member of the staff, you will accept the fact that when a member of the community asks for a "middle man", you will try your best to assist them. If you scam the items being traded over, you will be banned. No scamming is allowed by the staff team. No exceptions. We need to build a positive community, and by scamming members, it provides the other members of DragonX to "follow in your footsteps". We do not need the whole community to be scamming.
Dicing Hosting
The staff team is allowed to host dicing. You are not to roll for other players. The dice is meant for the staff team and the staff team only. If you are caught rolling for other players to host dicing, you and the player will be banned without warning.
Dice Scamming
If any moderators or administrators scam in dicing, they will be banned. No exceptions. Picture proof by anyone or word of mouth by several staff members ingame will be needed for a ban to take place.
